In order to maintain our green credentials, we have to
follow some rules, and whilst we love creating unusual
stationery this does give us a number of constraints:
We will only work to ‘A’ sizes as this reduces wastage on
the printing press.

We only use litho and digital printing methods.
Whilst we love the luxury finish of screenprinted and
letterpress printed cards, until we can find a way to do
this in a truly environmentally sound way, they cannot
be part of our print process.
We don‘t do foil embossing- metallic inks as they cannot currently be broken down and are not good for the planet.
We CAN die cut and blind emboss cards and we are
able to use a cellulose-based varnish to coat cards.

We work with one of the UK’s leading environmental printers. Being aware of the impact on the planet is at the fore of everything our thoughtful printer does, from using vegetable oil-based inks to LPG delivery vans. In 1995 this family business was the first commercial customer of Ecotricity and they have held ISO14001 accreditation since 2003, and FSC certification since 2004; We are proud to call them our friends!
